ChuckIt! makes some of the greatest toys I’ve ever used. They are the makers of Flying Squirrel, the Ultra Ball, and my personal favorite, the Launcher.
Flying Squirrel
Reasons to Buy:
- Flying Squirrels are great for dogs who love to play frisbee. They are soft on the mouth, and they really ‘fly’!
- They are easy to fold to a small size for portability.
Reasons NOT to Buy:
- They aren’t super durable. My dogs can pretty easily rip the center cloth out, and tear the edges.
Ultra Ball
Reasons to Buy:
- Very, very strong. It also soars much farther than a normal ball.
- Fits perfectly in the Chuckit Launcher.
- Doesn’t get as gross and slobbery as most tennis balls.
Reasons NOT to Buy:
- Its too expensive to take to dog parks (you could easily lose it, especially if another owner knows how nice of a toy it is)
- Its small enough to get lost pretty easily.
The Launcher:
Reasons to Buy:
- It is the easiest way to play ball with a dog that just won’t get tired quickly.
- For those of you who are lazy dog owners like me, its a way to play with your ball crazy dogs without having to do that much work.
- It flings the ball much farther than you could with your arm.
Reasons NOT to Buy:
- They are kind of bulky.
- Some dogs (mine being included) like to chew on the Launcher. This makes it pretty uncomfortable to hold.
