I have been handling Sadie for almost 9 years now, and she is an absolute delight to show. She loves to be in the ring and captures the attention of the judges, the other exhibitors, and the audience. She quickly earned her AKC title with 3 majors (16 points total), two of which were gained by going Best of Opposite over specials. The first time she was brought out as a special she gained another Best of Opposite over 5 other bitch specials. After that was consistently winning Best of Breed placements, and was unbeaten for 4 weekends worth of shows. She was ranked #29 in the breed in 2008 with very little showing. At a local International show, she finished her championship by gaining four V-I ratings and a Herding Group 3.

Sadie is retired from the breed ring, but we plan on entering her in Veterans whenever we can.

A critique of Sadie from an IABCA show:
This bitch has, correct, and clear markings, a nicely level topline, and a correct head. Nice, dark eyes, and rich pigmentation. Beautiful movement, good reach and equal drive with a powerful hindquarter. Lovely focus indicative of the breed’s herding ancestry.

Sadie in the Group ring at the Greeley Kennel Club Dog Show in 2009, after blowing coat, still placed Best of Breed in an entry of 15!
